Al-Maqdhi added to “Emirates Today,” that he decided on January 19 to use the Home Health Care Company to transport his father to a private hospital in Abu Dhabi, and during his transportation the ambulance was stalled on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in the Emirate of Ajman, so the company contacted with the National Ambulance to transport The patient is to Abu Dhabi, but he stressed that the transfer between one emirate and another is not his specialty, and he offered to send a car to take him to the nearest government hospital in Ajman.

He explained that his father stayed for two hours in the ambulance on the main road without receiving medical care.

The National Ambulance indicated that he received a call from a nurse at 12.13 January last, stating that he was transporting a patient from Ras Al Khaimah to Abu Dhabi, and his condition was stable, and the car broke down on them on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street, and that he needed another ambulance to transport the patient to Abu Dhabi.

He explained: “We asked the nurse to provide us with the location to transport the patient to the nearest hospital, which is Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Ajman, but he refused and asked to transfer him to Abu Dhabi, and we contacted the nurse seven times, and we offered him a national ambulance to be with the patient to maintain his safety and stability of his health. , Especially that it falls under the categories most at risk until another ambulance is sent by the carrier, but he did not respond to our request and informed us that there is no benefit in sending a car from the national ambulance, because you will transfer him to the nearest emergency department of a government hospital, and that the carrier has decided to return it To his home in Ras Al Khaimah to the end of Mu D interview with the physician in Abu Dhabi ».

He added that the nurse from the patient’s transport company did not respond to the request of national ambulance, and it bears full responsibility for securing an ambulance to the patient, as it is the authority supervising the transportation of his home from the hospital.

For its part, the Director of Patient Affairs at Excellence Home Medical Care Ola Othman indicated that the company only has an ambulance, and that during the transportation of the patient the car broke down for technical reasons, which called the company to communicate with the competent authorities near Ajman to transport the patient to the emirate Abu Dhabi, being treated at a private hospital there.

Othman explained that all her efforts were unsuccessful, as a result of the lack of competence of these authorities to transfer sick cases from emirate to emirate.

She added that the company coordinated with a private medical company in Dubai to send an alternative ambulance, and the patient was transferred for treatment.

The respirators stopped working after the vehicle stopped in the middle of the road.
