Bright red Sweden - record warm January in Östergötland and Gotland

The average temperature in Linköping in January, is plus four degrees this year. This is the same January temperature as Linköping had in 1989.

- Even though it was thirty years since we had an equally warm January in Östergötland and Gotland, they will become much more common in the future, says Erik Engström, climatologist at SMHI in Norrköping.
