The “Mossam” demining project in Yemen, affiliated with the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, removed 1616 various mines during the fourth week of January 2020, which were planted by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias.

The center explained that the project extracted six anti-personnel mines, 402 anti-tank mines, 11 explosive devices and 1197 unexploded ordnance. He pointed out that what had been removed since the beginning of the project amounted to 125,902 mines planted by the terrorist Houthi militias affiliated with Iran in the lands, schools and homes, and tried to hide them in various forms and methods, which killed a large number of children, women and the elderly, whether by death, serious injury or amputation.
