The alarm came on Tuesday evening Swedish time. An aircraft on its way to Los Angeles International Airport should then have, for some unclear reason, dumped fuel less than 25 km from the airport. The fuel landed over a low school, the local rescue service writes on Twitter.

70 firefighters work at the site. A total of 17 children and 9 adults have minor injuries. However, no one should have had to be taken to hospital.

It is unclear why the fuel was dumped. It is also unclear which aircraft it is about.
