Rosa Santucci, 88, was found dead this morning in her home, a small villa in via Chieti in Riccione. The grandson, 42 years old, lived with his grandmother and it was he who would have sounded the alarm, around 11.30. The man ran to a neighbor who then called 118 and the carabinieri. The 42-year-old would have said that, while he was joking with her, the old woman suddenly collapsed and fell to the ground. An autopsy will be performed on the body. The nephew, held in the barracks, was interrogated by the prosecutor, Luca Bertuzzi, in the presence of the defense lawyer. According to investigators, there were no weapons or blunt objects at the location of the body's discovery, but the scene was compatible with a third party's death.
