Earlier, the Acting Prime Minister of Iraq, Adil Abdul-Mahdi, said that he had submitted to the Parliament a timetable for the withdrawal of foreign troops from the country.

“The timetable for the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq has been submitted to parliament,” he noted.

Iraq claimed that Washington notified the attack on Iranian general Qassim Suleimani only a few minutes before the attack, without receiving permission from Baghdad.

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry also condemned the US operation against Suleimani.

US Presidential Advisor on National Security Robert O'Brien, in turn, warned Baghdad of decisions that were unfavorable for the continued presence of American troops.
