Thursday evening, shortly before midnight, the police intervened on the forecourt of the Matabiau station, in Toulouse, to separate three men who are fighting. When they reach their level, instead of stopping at the sight of uniforms, the three brawlers decide to join forces against the men in uniform, according to a police source.
Invective and insults
Two of them, aged 16 and 17, repeatedly abuse and insult members of the police. The third, aged 21, decided squarely to come to blows and punched one of the police. The latter fell to the ground.
The three men, who had been drinking more than expected, were arrested and placed in a sobering-up cell. They were still at the central police station on Friday afternoon.
