Four buildings collapsed under construction in southern Cambodia.

A seven-story building under construction collapsed in southern Cambodia on March 3, killing four workers, including workers inside. It seems that there are still people under the building, and rescue operations are continuing.

At about 6:30 pm on July 3 in Japan, Kep in southern Cambodia, a seven-story building under construction suddenly collapsed and workers inside were laid down.

According to local media, 20 of the underlays have been carried out so far, of which four have been confirmed dead and others serious.

At the time of the collapse, there were reports that there were 30 construction workers and their families inside the building, and police and other personnel are still rescuing, assuming that there are still people underneath.

The construction rush is continuing in Cambodia due to economic growth, but it is thought to be due to sloppy construction, such as the collapse of a building under construction in the southern tourist destination Sihanoukville last June and an accident that killed 28 people. Fatal accidents are occurring one after another.
