“On the fact of injuring two people as a result of popping of household gas in a residential building, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of corpus delicti, provided for in subsection“ c ”of part 2 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements for life and health of consumers), ”the statement says.
Earlier it was reported that gas popping occurred as a result of deformation of the gas hose, which was damaged by a craftsman who was dismantling and installing kitchen cabinets.
On January 2, investigators began checking after a gas explosion in a residential building in Tver, where two people were injured in the incident.
