His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, thanked everyone who contributed to organizing Dubai’s New Year celebrations, assuring His Highness that it has achieved success.
In a tweet published yesterday on Twitter, His Highness mentioned the role played by the Dubai team, which consists of workers in organizing, transporting, protecting, media and providing safety for all, accompanied by his expressions of admiration and pictures of celebrations.
His Highness added that more than two million people celebrated in the streets of Dubai with the advent of 2020, and more than a billion viewers followed the emirate’s celebrations on this occasion.
In his tweet, he said: “Dubai celebrated the arrival of the world in 2020 yesterday. More than two million people celebrated on the streets of Dubai. About a billion people also saw their celebrations. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the organization, the transportation, the protection, the media, and the provision of safety for all.
