In his New Year’s address, the President of Russia recalled that this year the country will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“I wholeheartedly congratulate the front-line soldiers and home front workers, people of the older generation, all those who went through the most difficult trials for the sake of us and for the future of our Motherland on New Year's holidays. I bow to you! ”Putin said.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev congratulated the Russians on the upcoming 2020 and wished them happiness, health and prosperity.
