There has already been an agreement to share the leadership. On January 1, 2020 Roland Sjögren (KD) will step down as chairman of the municipal council. Sharing leadership has worked well, he thinks.
- Yes I think so. At the same time, it is difficult to pronounce when you have never tried this before, it is unusual. As chairman of the municipal council, you still become responsible and we have tried to share it and be responsible for different parts. It is a tough assignment even in a small municipality so it has not been a disadvantage to be two, he says.
"Positive location"As future chairman, Sjögren hopes next year to be able to spin on the situation that exists in the municipality.
- We have an incredibly positive situation in Lycksele and many people are moving in the same direction and what I look forward to is to create political conditions to make things even better. I want more dialogue with civil society and the population on how to develop Lycksele.
