Aircraft and military boats will also be available to help rescue the 4,000 people trapped on the Mallacoota beach in the eastern region of East Gippsland due to the advance of the flames. Two other people died in NSW, bringing the death toll to 12 dead. . Authorities said 4 people were reported missing in Victoria.
