The report said that on December 30, the Stanovlyansky District Court examined the request for the arrest of the Moscow-Tbilisi bus driver.
“As a result, the driver was detained during the investigation,” the prosecutor’s office said.
It is noted that the driver is a citizen of Georgia.
On Thursday, December 26, when a bus capsized in the Lipetsk region, two people were killed and eight were injured.
Two criminal cases were opened on the fact of an accident.
