The Sharjah Misdemeanor Court has examined a case in which two persons of Asian nationality are accused of kidnapping and stealing another of their same nationality, after beating him, and taking him to one of the regions at night.
The details of the incident return when a report was received stating that an Asian person had been kidnapped, taken to a place in one of the regions of Sharjah at night, beaten and stolen, and then released.
The security teams moved to the site of the incident, and by investigation and collection of evidence, the suspects were reached and seized, and with their investigation they confessed in the investigation record of assaulting the accused, and they were referred to the judiciary.
The court confronted the defendants with the charges against them, and they denied the charges, saying that they did not kidnap the accused and did not attack him, but they were at the scene of the accident when a fight occurred between the complainant and a group of other persons.
The prosecution requested the conviction of the accused, while the court decided to postpone the case to January 7, to call the witnesses and hear their statements.
