27 December 2019 5.27 A plane with 100 people on board, 95 passengers and 5 crew members, crashed near Almaty, the main city of Kazakhstan. At least 7 died according to an initial balance. Some media reports of 9 deaths. Shortly after take-off the plane, which was headed for the capital NurSultan, began to lose altitude, hit a concrete barrier and then crashed into a two-story building.
