According to him, the military department has information that some states are working through the media to discredit Russian authorities, politicians, and public figures.
He added that the goal of an information attack on the armed forces is to undermine the confidence of the Russian population in the combat effectiveness of the army.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on reports that the American cyber command was preparing tactics for waging an information war against Russia.
