Earlier, the state commission of Kyrgyzstan found Atambayev guilty of organizing riots in the Chui region and the capital of the republic on August 7-8, 2019.
In October, the Kyrgyz Supreme Court upheld Atambayev’s immunity.
He was detained during the assault on his residence on August 8 on suspicion of involvement in five crimes.
