“We are aware of the multilateral exercises that Russia, China and Iran will conduct. We will observe this and continue to work with our partners and allies to ensure freedom of navigation and free trade flow on international waterways, ”TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, the Commander of the Naval Forces of Iran, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, said that joint exercises with Russia and China will be held in the Indian Ocean on December 27.
Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said that the goal of the naval exercises of Iran, Russia and China in the Indian Ocean is to work out actions to combat terrorism and piracy.
