Shortly after 10 pm on Thursday evening, the person alerted the police and told them they had been shot in the head. The incident occurred outdoors in Jordbro, in southern Stockholm.
"I can confirm that the person was shot in the head," said police officer Jenny Ryberg.
The person is slightly injured but had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. The police at first thought that an air force had been used, but when a bullet hole was found in a box, the police changed the criminal classification into attempted murder and causing danger to others.
The site is closed off and a technical investigation is to be carried out.
