Song, music, food and community were on the menu when Umeå city mission thieves started Christmas celebrations last week. They invited to an open and free Christmas table in Vasakyrkan.
"We want everyone to celebrate Christmas," says Hilda Karlsson, a socio- nomist at Umeå city mission.
One of those who visited the Christmas table was Lennart Revebro who thinks this type of arrangement is good for those who are alone or cannot afford to buy food themselves.
