December 22, 2019Israel will provide permits for Christians in Gaza to go to Jerusalem and Bethlehem (West Bank) for Christmas.This was announced tonight by General Kamil Abu Rukun commander of Cogat, the coordination of Israeli government of the territories.
"The entry permits for Jerusalem and the West Bank area - said Rukun - will be issued in accordance with the security measures and regardless of age".
Tonight's decision follows the appeals of recent days by Christian religious authorities for Israel to grant permits.
