30 citizens and researchers discussed their theses in the Master of Arts program in Judicial Studies for graduates of the eleventh and twelfth installments of the program, organized by the Legal Studies Department at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Zayed University, with the participation of the Abu Dhabi Police and the Directorate of Military Judiciary.

The sessions were held in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Mohsen Onsi, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fares Hawari, the Head of the Legal Studies Department, Professor Dr. Imam Atallah, and an audience from the university family.

The studies dealt with many new legal issues, such as the criminal responsibility of artificial intelligence, confronting rumors via social media, remote judicial trials, and electronic monitoring, all of which were developed by the Emirati legislator, and researchers discussed them in their research, to reveal aspects of strength and ways to benefit from them.

More than 140 male and female students working in various fields of legal work have graduated from the Master of Judicial Studies program, since its inception in 2008 and until now, according to Dr. Hawari, all governmental and private, governmental and private institutions and departments of the state, as this program helped them in refining And enhancing their skills, and increasing their ability to practice legal work efficiently and effectively, after having received theoretical and applied knowledge for two full years, and students have joined the program to improve practices in the sectors in which they work, as well as to upgrade their current professional status and strive to Higher positions.

The head of the Legal Studies Department, Prof. Dr. Imam Atallah said, “The new graduates will be a distinct addition in the field of legal work, and they will join those who preceded them from the judiciary, members of the public prosecution, lawyers, the judiciary, military prosecutors, and other legal field workers, who graduated in this program, To apply what they learned and what they were trained to do during their study period. ” He pointed out that during the two-year program period, students visit the courts, prosecutors, criminal evidence departments, police departments, crime scene departments, and many other relevant authorities.

The program focuses on practical aspects, rather than adhering to theoretical reports, and "it is necessary for our students to visit the various departments and related entities, when it comes to the cases they receive, and these visits sometimes include a visit to the Anti-Money Laundering Unit of the Central Bank, the Chamber of Industry and Trade, And Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority ».
