"Everything for one euro" was the catchy claim with which many Chinese citizens broke into their shops in our cities. Large stores with countless products of doubtful quality, but with unbeatable prices that were a temptation for those who crossed the entrance door. A successful marketing strategy that has been used by a group of traffickers from Malaga who tried to attract customers with the offer "Porros a un euro". A complaint that also caught the attention of the National Police, which has ended up closing the business and arresting those responsible.

The Provincial Police of Malaga has reported that the investigations started last November, when those responsible for the investigation learned that in two buildings in La Corta, a troubled neighborhood located in the northern area of the capital, cocaine was sold and hashish to young students in the presence of minors.

The surveillance revealed a large transfer of people around one of the homes under surveillance and led the agents to a second building, where a minor resided, destined to dry marijuana.

The houses had strong security measures to hinder overturning of other organizations and prevent a police intervention, such as metal bars that would grant them a few seconds of time to hide or get rid of the drug and through which the doses were dispensed to buyers.

Candies ready to consume

The investigation allowed to prove "reliably" the sale of hashish to minors, to which the implied ones captured with the modality of "porros to a euro": "Supplying of small amounts of chocolate to students and adolescents", has detailed the Commissariat .

Sources close to the case consulted by EL MUNDO have explained that many schoolchildren were observed who, after finishing classes, came with their backpacks to the point of sale and used to acquire a kind of fast-consumption pack : "For one euro they gave them a position wrapped like a candy in a cigarette paper, so they only needed a lighter and a cigar to make the joint. " With this way of proceeding it seeks to expand the illegal business by attracting buyers with little purchasing power, they have added.

The family at the head of the network did not care about the youth of many of their clients, nor the fact that there was a Local Police Headquarters within walking distance to continue their criminal activity.

In addition, the properties they used had illegal hooks to the public electricity grid, so that crimes against public health have been charged against fraud of electric fluid, resistance and attack on the authority.

The police operation was carried out jointly in three homes and allowed the arrest of five people, three of whom have been imprisoned. There is a sixth implicated that is currently in search, the sources consulted.

The agents seized 690 grams of hashish in the records, about thirty wrappings of the same substance prepared to be sold and consumed, several cocaine papers - recovered when one of the investigators tried to dispose of them - as well as 2,330 euros.
