He pointed out that the Senate supported the bill on the defense budget for 2020, which also introduces, according to him, mandatory sanctions against companies and individuals who lay pipes during the construction of the Nord Stream 2 or help to do this.
“The bill comes into force after it is signed by President Trump. This is expected to happen within a few days. After that, the companies involved in the construction of Nord Stream 2 will have to complete work in the near future or will be subject to US sanctions, ”Kobolev wrote on Facebook.
