The Fujairah Criminal Court examined the case of two Gulf nationals, accused of attempting to steal charitable association funds, causing damage to movables belonging to the association and an insurance company, assaulting a police officer, and drinking wine.

The judiciary faced the defendants accused of the charges against them, namely, attempting to steal money belonging to a charity in the Emirate of Fujairah, and to destroy movables belonging to the association itself and an insurance company, and when the police man was performing his work and tried to arrest them, they resisted him and beat him, causing him injuries Proved with a medical report.

While the first accused denied all the charges against him except for drinking alcohol, indicating that he did not attack a police officer, and he was cooperating when he was arrested.

The second defendant also denied the accusation of assault, theft and damage to movables, as he works in a distinguished position and does not need to steal the association's money, indicating that he has a chronic organic disease, and requests judgment in his case so that he can continue his treatment outside of prison.

The judiciary decided to postpone the decision in the case until next week.
