“In Ukraine, criminal cases have been instituted against 6 thousand Russian citizens ... Kirill Vyshinsky raised this topic, and we will promote it ... We must remove these 6 thousand people from the position of hostages,” RIA Novosti quoted Fadeeva as saying.

According to him, these people are accused of treason and other similar crimes.

Earlier, a member of the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights, Executive Director of MIA “Russia Today”, Kirill Vyshinsky, handed over to the Secretary General of the Reporters Without Borders (RSF) international organization, Christoph Deloir, a list of journalists who are being prosecuted in Ukraine.

He noted that the “Vyshinsky list” lists journalists who were in prison, many of them have already been released, but are still under criminal prosecution.
