New York Knicks French leader Frank Ntilikina has been reduced by back pain, making him unclear for the NBA regular season game in Milwaukee on Monday night, his club said.

Ntilikina was injured after seven minutes of play Sunday in the home defeat against Boston (113-104). Coach David Fizdale said at the end of the meeting that his injury was not "severe", but that the Knicks would not take any chances.

After a difficult start to the season, during which he had few minutes to play, the 21-year-old gradually reversed the trend during the month of November to win in the big five, thanks to a big activity defensive.

After 19 games, he has 6.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 interceptions in 26.1 minutes.

The Knicks, who must also regret the absence of winger Marcus Morris, share the last place of the East conference with Atlanta, posting a record of 4 wins for 16 defeats.
