“I believe that NATO’s relations with Russia will certainly be discussed ... Of course, this will be a high priority at a meeting of leaders,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

He noted that Russia will be the subject of “interest and concern” at the summit.

“The threat to territorial sovereignty and the hybrid threat emanating from Russia are a cause for very deep concern for many members and, certainly, for us,” the official said.

Earlier, Presidential Advisor on National Security Robert O'Brien said that the West does not want to enter into conflict with Russia.
