• Drug trafficking: Los Castañas clan of narcos had connections with the Italian mafia

The Algeciras Section of the Provincial Court of Cádiz , chaired by magistrate Manuel Gutiérrez Luna, has decreed the entry into prison of Francisco 'Isco' Tejón, one of the two leaders of the clan of drug traffickers known as 'Los Castañitas' and that since On October 29 he was released on bail. His brother Antonio, who was also released by the head of court number 2 of La Linea, was still in jail but for another cause he has pending with justice.

The Prosecutor's Office filed an appeal against this decision and now, with the presence in the room of Isco and after more than an hour and a half of testimony from the parties, the court has determined its entry into prison again.

The Public Ministry is thus ratified its position that pointed to the risk of escape as the Tejón brothers were going to continue with their criminal activity. It should be remembered that the bonds imposed were 200,000 and 120,000 euros, amounts that the Prosecutor's Office considered ridiculous for some people whose assets are around 20 million euros.

Although in principle it was speculated that the defendant did not attend the meeting and everything was left to the defense lawyer, finally, Isco Tejón arrived at the Algeciren hall where many media and police officers were waiting. With apparent tranquility he accessed the building and subsequently left it, in principle, in the direction of the Botafuegos prison. His brother, Antonio, is still in Albolote (Granada).
