The British Conservative party, Boris Johnson's party, has officially released its campaign manifesto. A series of election promises including a new vote on Brexit before Christmas and a "triple tax lock" so that income tax, national insurance and VAT rates remain stable under a Conservative government .

Great expectations were expected on Brexit. Boris Johnson has indeed promised a new vote on the withdrawal agreement before Christmas if the Conservatives win a majority of seats. That leaves two short weeks to organize this vote under the new Speaker of the House of Commons and the newly elected members.

It must be said that the Conservative Party presents candidates who have promised to support the government in the votes on Brexit.

Tax rate announcements are only intended to oppose the spending promised by Labor who wants to renationalize a significant number of services. For every pound spent by the Conservatives, Labor wants to spend 28 pounds.

A rather modest manifesto therefore, without great ambition and who intends to build on the sites of previous years. On the one hand, according to the polls, the Conservatives remain in the lead and therefore do not need a punch program, but also because during the campaign of 2017, the great promises of Theresa May have not convinced. Retaining social gains rather than turning everything upside down seems to be the conservative party's new strategy.

Make Brexit a reality, and we can finally focus on the priorities of the British. It is this united conservative party that has already embarked on the largest NHS refinancing plan in a generation and today, in this manifesto, we are pledging 50,000 additional nurses. We guarantee to the British people that we will tackle crimes with 20,000 additional police and that we will regulate our immigration system with a points system similar to the Australian system. We will invest millions more pounds every week in science, schools, learning and infrastructure while controlling our debts.
