The president of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, has annulled his attendance tonight to the ceremony of delivery of the Medals of Honor and the XII Carles Ferrer Salat Awards granted by Foment del Treball , after declaring for hours in the trial for disobedience to the Electoral Board Central
Torra has contacted the Catalan employer in the late afternoon to inform that he will not be present at the event, one of the most important organized annually by Foment, citing the fatigue from the appearance before the High Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC), as confirmed by employers' and government sources.
The Catalan president had to participate in the dinner of the awards, an act in which he was going to coincide with three ministers of the acting Government: Nadia Calviño (Economy), María Jesús Montero (Treasury) and Margarita Robles (Defense).
