He said that Russia "will pay special attention to expanding foreign policy coordination between our states at key international venues, especially in the UN, where the BRICS countries have gained really good experience in cooperation."
“The BRICS states should be more proactive in taking the lead in the UN,” Putin said.
He noted that the BRICS countries need to "more actively and continuously engage in promoting a positive international agenda, uniting like-minded people around themselves to jointly resolve key global and regional problems."
Earlier, in the framework of the 11th BRICS summit, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) discussed the creation of a payment system and received the support of members of the organization’s business council.
