Bahrain's Ambassador to Russia Al-Saati announced efforts to join the country in BRICS. According to the diplomat, Russia did everything so that Bahrain would also be in this association.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa. Putin also said that BRICS today is a powerful association that attracts many countries. “We are trying to join and participate in the work of both BRICS and other international economic and political organizations,” RIA Novosti quotes him.
