It is noted that the prime minister instructed the commander of the elite counter-terrorism service to "take all necessary measures" to put an end to the protests in Baghdad.
Earlier it became known that about 50 people died as a result of a wave of anti-government protests in Iraq.
Mass protests began in Iraq on October 1 due to the worsening social situation in the country, increasing corruption in government and unemployment.
