The Executive Council of Sharjah has issued a decision to reduce the value of traffic fines on vehicles violating the traffic law by 50% and the traffic points resulting from these violations will be canceled from 22 October until 31 January.

This came during a meeting held yesterday under the chairmanship of HH Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, in the presence of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.

The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the various affairs of the emirate and the realization of the emirate's vision to provide the best services to citizens and residents of Sharjah. The Council reviewed the report submitted by the Sharjah e-Government Department on the services provided and ways to develop them in line with the emirate's vision to build a knowledge society and support Sharjah's overall renaissance by providing the best smart and creative e-services to the highest international standards.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to the general affairs of the Emirate were presented, and the Council took appropriate decisions.
