“In the period from October 15 to 18, under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian National Guard, Army General Viktor Zolotov, an operational-tactical exercise will be held,” the report said.
It is noted that the exercises are aimed at fulfilling the tasks of combating illegal armed groups, terrorist groups and ensuring public and state security of the country.
The exercises will be the final stage of the operational and combat training of the National Guard forces in 2019.
In July, anti-terrorism exercises were held in the Leningrad Region. According to Nevsky Novosti, more than 150 military and about 20 units of military equipment were involved in them.
In June, exercises of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee were held in Kazan.
