" We are very close to ending the trade war, " said the US president. The compromise reached by China and the United States is not yet known in detail, but according to Donald Trump, American farmers, the first victims of the trade dispute, will be the main beneficiaries of the agreement.

" We have reached an agreement on intellectual property, financial services, and this is an exceptional agreement for farmers: a $ 40-50 billion purchase of agricultural products. This is going to be two and a half to three times more than the highest level of Chinese purchases. So I suggest farmers buy more land and new tractors immediately . "

This partial agreement could be signed by the US President and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at the meeting of the Asia-Pacific Cooperation Forum scheduled for November in Chile. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has decided to suspend the tariff increase scheduled next week. It had to raise from 25 to 30% the taxes on 250 billion dollars of Chinese imports.
