Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former US President Donald Trump, announced on March 15 his intention to invest in real estate in the Balkans, Albania and Belgrade. The land concerned, located in the very center of the Serbian capital, would be allocated free of charge for 99 years to an offshore company belonging to Jared Kushner.

An opposition environmentalist party asks for this agreement to be made public, and announces he is launching a petition against the project. If the Minister of Infrastructure denies the existence of an agreement between Serbia and Jared Kushner, he admits to having been mandated to negotiate.
