RFSL writes that: "RFSL is of the opinion that the section of the criminal code prohibiting the purchase of sexual services, the Sex Purchase Act, should be reformed so that the purchase of sexual services, by adults who, under voluntary forms, have sex for compensation, is no longer criminalized."

However, they are adamant that sex purchases where there is a crime, which trafficking or intoxication should remain illegal.

Furthermore, they believe that the Sex Purchase Act is problematic and that it must be reviewed, because the law stigmatizes already vulnerable people.

- For us as a rights organization, it is a matter of course to stand up for everyone who has sex for compensation to have access to their human rights and to a safe everyday life. We see how our criminalizing legislation stigmatizes and creates great difficulties and is pleased that it is being discussed and problematised, writes RFSL's union chairman Sandra Ehne, on RFSL's website.

To be discussed in Örebro

- We'll talk about it tonight at our Tuesday cafe. I expect a lot of discussion about it, and I really want to hear what our members think, says Tindra Svanberg, chairman of RFSL in Örebro.

SVT has applied for RFSL at the national level.
