- Great fun for the guys to get some payout, coach Stephan "Lillis" Lundh told C More after the 5-0 crusher.

With nine goals in six matches and an efficiency of at least modestly 6.21 percent, HV71 was the worst for the entire home meet with Linköping in the entire SHL. Just like the Jönköpings team, a target of 18 numerical superiors - an efficiency of 5.5 percent.

But these statistics could collectively throw HV71 in the trash after a ketchup effect model larger.

Nils Andersson thundered up 1–0 in the intersection already after 4.45 - in powerplay, which set the tone for the remainder of the evening. Just five minutes later, Joakim Andersson increased to 2-0.

"Now is the time to let it go a bit," the 1-0 shooter Nils Andersson told C More during the period break.

He got it right.

Three out of three in powerplay

Sure, at the beginning of the second period, home coach Stephan "Lillis" Lundh was unhappy and took time out. The answer? 3–0 just over a minute and a half later. New Finnish Juuso Ikonen scored his first goal in the HV jersey after brilliant foreplay by Christoffer Törngren, who played up to three of the goals.

Just over two minutes later, 4-0 by Johannes Kinnvall, who also scored his first goal for the club, came in HV71's second powerplay. Before the second period was over, Joakim Andersson netted for the second time up to 5-0. That too in powerplay, which meant three goals on three attempts in the form of play. And a total of five goals on 18 shots.

Satisfied Lundh

That it was not Linköping's evening was clear, and proved otherwise when Joe Whitney missed a penalty and Sebastian Karlsson hit the post in the second period.

Sure, LHC didn't release any further goals and held tight to a numerical disadvantage - but more than that it wasn't. New coach Bert Robertsson has a lot to think about - not least in the away game, where Linköping has 3-17 in goal difference in four games.

In HV71, however, it was positive.

- Great fun for the guys to get some payout, powerplay was gratifying too, coach Lundh told C More.

- But it has to continue. It is a match and there will be a couple this week.
