Last year, 100,000 visitors were attracted to the event and this year the organizers expect at least as many visitors.

Many runners fulfill their needs in the outdoors instead of using the mobile toilets. This is something that has upset many Lidingö residents and the organizers have had to work hard to solve the problem.

- We have put up signs in the residential areas and asked not to do their needs outside but to go to the toilets, but it becomes stressful and nervous and such. We do everything we can and we hope that people respect it, but we cannot be police officers who say "you must not go to the toilet here", but we are struggling with that, says Nina Engberg, secretary general at Lidingöloppet.

Last year 40 per cent more baja-major was put in for the race and this year even more were added.

- We have looked at and analyzed where they need to be, but above all we want to urge and inform that you should not pee in nature.
