Federal Government: Study: Few trust policy in consumer protection

Berlin (AP) - In the field of consumer protection, less than one in five trust in politics. This emerges from a study by the Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband. In 2017, it was still one in four. Particularly with regard to the Internet and digitization, respondents see their interests as being little protected. 89 percent of respondents see politicians as responsible for providing more consumer protection.
