At 21 o'clock on Tuesday evening, SOS received an alarm that a larger sailing boat with five people in started to take in water. When the Sea Rescue Society arrived at the site, it was difficult to reach the people on the boat because of the heavy waves.

- The boat is right near the beach. But we can't reach the people because of the waves, so a helicopter is on site to help, says Mats Ohlsson, station manager at the Sea Rescue in Falsterbo.

No person should get into the water or be injured.

According to SOS Alarm, there is a risk that the boat will leak in too much water and thus can turn around.
