A criminal case was instituted under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (production for the purpose of marketing and marketing of goods that do not meet the safety requirements of consumer health).
According to the investigation, during the period from August 1 to August 23, employees of Forfor in Samara Restaurant LLC carried out storage, production and marketing of food products that did not meet the safety requirements for consumer health.
In this regard, from August 23 to 29, 63 people with signs of food poisoning contacted medical institutions in the Samara Region who purchased products in the specified enterprise, added to the UK.
Earlier in Yakutsk 36 people were poisoned by food from restaurants.
