A terrorist attack planned by an accomplice of the banned organization “Russian Volunteer Corps’* was prevented in the Samara region. According to the FSB, the attacker intended to cause an explosion in the building of a humanitarian aid reception point for one of the volunteer organizations.
During his arrest, the suspect's explosive device went off, resulting in him receiving injuries incompatible with life. A laboratory for the production of explosives, components for them, as well as another ready-to-use IED were found at the attacker’s residence address.
