Johnson promised Brexit on October 31 "under any circumstances"

As stated in the press service of the British Prime Minister, Johnson and Juncker "had a positive and meaningful conversation."

"The Prime Minister said that the UK will leave the EU on October 31 under any circumstances, and that we certainly want to do this with the deal," the statement said.

It is noted that at the same time, the prime minister made it clear that until the exit agreement is again open and the back-stop is canceled, "there will be no prospect of reaching such an agreement."

Johnson said earlier on the sidelines of the G7 summit that the chances of concluding an agreement on the terms of London’s exit from the EU have increased. He also noted that he did not want Brexit without a deal.

As US President Donald Trump emphasized, Johnson is the “right person” to pull Britain out of the European Union.
