25 August 2019 Seven people were injured in the overturning of a monorail train inside Movieland, a theme area dedicated to cinema in the Canevaworld amusement park, in Lazise (Verona).The causes of the accident still need to be clarified. In aid of the injured, the 118 health workers intervened with the Verona Emergency helicopter and three ambulances. Three wounded were transported to Verona, to the Polo Confortini of Borgo Trento, four others to the Pederzoli hospital in Peschiera del Garda. The monorail allows visitors to cross the park from above.
