“A procedural check is being carried out on the fact of rock collapse in the Sarylakh underground mine of the Oymyakon district and the death of a worker,” the statement says.
According to investigators, to date it has been established that during the work at a depth of about 500 meters, a rock collapse occurred, as a result of which one worker of the enterprise, born in 1978, died.
Earlier in the Oymyakon district of Yakutia, the body of the Sarylakh coal mine was removed from under the rubble.
In July, it became known that the collapse of the rock occurred at the Anzherskaya-Yuzhnaya mine in the Kemerovo Region.
