The damage is continuing as super typhoon Rekima comes to China with heavy rain and strong winds.

According to Xinhua, China's National Emergency Management Division reported that 13 people were killed and 16 were missing when Rekima hit Zhejiang.

Rekima landed inland China today (March 10), causing 3.30 million people in six cities, including Taizhou, Wenzhou, and Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, of which 750,000 have been evacuated.

In Shanghai, more than 250,000 people were evacuated from heavy rains.

People in Zhejiang and Shanghai and Jiangsu have been isolated from heavy rains and strong winds, and Chinese authorities have mobilized thousands of rescue teams to help prevent floods and rescue lives.

Meanwhile, China's Meteorological Department has responded with a full-fledged red boundary.

Zhejiang Province yesterday closed major highways, shut down railroads, and canceled 92 flights.

It also stopped nearby ferries and evacuated 200 tourists.

Rekima is expected to affect Anhui, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai by heavy winds with heavy rain until tomorrow.

Shanghai authorities feared damage to Rekima and temporarily closed 72 tourist attractions for three days, including parks and museums.

Shanghai also temporarily suspended 11 high-speed trains until tomorrow.

Zhejiang authorities issued the highest emergency phase and entered flood control, and Jiangsu authorities stopped 130 trains from Nanjing due to heavy rain.

In Zhengzhou, 60 trains, including high-speed trains, were canceled or delayed until tomorrow.
